Feo hesitated, looking to Parisa. "If he's asking to see you... it might be worth entertaining."
"Are you okay to do that?" Feo asked of his mother.
Kyros looked uncharacteristically hurt, though it came through as sarcasm. "I guess no one clued me in about it."
"Parisa, that's... pretty serious." Kyros pointed out. "Especially with Feo. What... I need to mentally catch up on this."
Hmm. That's how she was painting it, then? He tried to imagine the events that implied, but quickly realized he did not want to do that.
