She slid off of Pari to sit on her other side, giving him a wide-eyed look. "Um, kind of. You didn't? They've been making eyes at each other for over a year now."
"We have not been making eyes at each other," Parisa derided. Sparrow shrugged a little. "Sure, Pari."

Kyros looked uncharacteristically hurt, though it came through as sarcasm. "I guess no one clued me in about it."

"Baby, I thought you knew..." she reached over to take his hand. Pari was now locked in an uncomfortable seatbelt.
"Calm down," she told them, disgusted at both the implication and the scene in front of her. "There's nothing serious going on... it was just sex."

"Parisa, that's... pretty serious." Kyros pointed out. "Especially with Feo. What... I need to mentally catch up on this."

"It was just the two of us in a house for like a month," she blustered. "And we were both hot and alone, so..."
"He's loved you for years." Sparrow said with concern, touching her shoulder. "And I know you love him too."
"Would you please fucking chill out?"

Kyros gave Sparrow a look that told her he was on Pari's side on this one.
"You," he gestured to his cousin. "Explain. Was this before or after the demon attack?"
Both had weird implications.

"After," she admitted. "I... couldn't sleep, so I went to his room, and..."
"There was a demon attack?" Sparrow's eyes widened as she grabbed Pari's hands. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. You didn't snoop on that part?"
"No, only the thing with Feo... I just got here." she confessed," And I heard your voice, and Kyros, and I was so excited that you were talking, I didn't want to interrupt..."

"And yet you did," Kyros reminded her. "Let her talk."

"Sorry," she replied meekly as Pari shrugged. "That's really all there is to it. It was a bad decision made after a stressful day."

Hmm. That's how she was painting it, then? He tried to imagine the events that implied, but quickly realized he did not want to do that.
